MARIT DARLANG

Marit Darlang (1990) studied recorder at the “Utrechts Conservatorium” with Heiko ter Schegget. She obtained her bachelor of music in 2012. During this study she also received baroque bassoon and dulcian lessons from Wouter Verschuren. In June 2014 she finished her studies at the “Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag” and obtained her masters degree. During her master she studied baroque and classical bassoon and dulcian with Donna Agrell and Wouter Verschuren. In 2016 she finished her studies at the “Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya” in Barcelona with Josep Borras.

An active participant in festivals and master classes around Europe, Marit has received instruction from Benny Aghassi, Javier Zafra, Dominic Teresi, Alberto Grazzi, Luca Guglielmi, Lorenzo Coppola, Erik Bosgraaf, Wilbert Hazelzet, Frank de Bruine, Siebe Henstra, Jacques Ogg, Marion Verbruggen, Kees Boeke, Daniël Brüggen, Adam Woolf, Kathryn Cok, Dorothea Winter, Pedro Estevan, Lluís Coll, Javier Artigas and Paco Rubio. In 2014 Marit participated in the educational programme OAE Experience, provided by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. In 2016 she was selected for the European Union Baroque Orchestra and participated in the tour EUBO 2016. As well she has spent summers studying at the Amsterdam Early Music Summer School, Dartington International Summerschool, International Course of Early Music Daroca and Fiori Musicali (led by Caecilia-Concert).
